Gate valve to EN std. for water and other neutral liquids to max. 70°C
AVK gate valves are designed with built-in safety in every detail. The wedge is fully vulcanized with AVK's own drinking water approved EPDM rubber compound, featuring an outstanding durability due to the ability of the rubber to regain its original shape combined with a double bonding vulcanization process and a sturdy wedge design. - Wedge and stem firmly connected to prevent vibration
- Wedge and wedge nut fully vulcanized in drinking water approved EPDM and fitted with polyamide wedge shoes that protect the rubber and provide low operating torque
- Stem in stainless steel and brass wedge nut for high corrosion resistance
- Stem seal consisting of three O-rings in series with adjustable compression
- Round bonnet gasket fixed in a recess to avoid blow out
- Counterbored A2-70 stainless steel bonnet bolts encircled by the bonnet gasket and sealed with hot-melt glue
- ISO actuator flange; electric actuator or gearbox is recommended
- Coating in 250µm blue RAL 5017 fusion bonded epoxy (FBE)
- Installation with horizontal or vertical stem
- Bosses for by-pass
- Rising stem gives a clear indication of valve position from a distance
